The Apollo Church rises above the Mlýnský pond not far from the village of Lednice. It was built between 1817 and 1819 by the Viennese architect Josef Kornhäusel, who succeeded Josef Hardtmuth as the chief architect of the Liechtenstein family. The cost of building the temple was 39,192 gold and the chief builder was Master Poppelack. The temple is decorated from the front with eight Doric columns in the front and two in the back. The top of the church consists of a terrace with a classicist railing, which is accessed by a spiral wooden staircase. The back of the building consists of an apartment that once served as a shelter for the guard. The central motif is a relief with a mythological scene of the god Apollo on a solar chariot drawn by a quadruped. In the upper part of the temple there are statues symbolizing the four seasons. In the middle of the arch is a group of amorites with Apollo's lyre. On the sides are two pairs of statues depicting muses.
